On 20 January 2012, EUNIC in Brussels, the Goethe Institut and the Instituto Camões will be presenting the forth of a series of evening talks on the advantages of shrinking in Europe.

The collective memory, in the case of Germany and Portugal, should be reflected in terms of the phenomena Getting Smaller. How can memory establish identity and tradition? Was memory exploited? Is the creation of the EU an ideal answer? In this evening event we will reflect state and post national systems.
